Location: Oneonta
Date: June 30, 2025
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Summary: For the second time this season, the Stallions have had to suspend a game mid-play due to inclement weather. The Stallions were leading the Oneonta Outlaws 4-1 entering the bottom of the fifth when weather concerns forced the remainder of the game to be postponed. There is no specified date yet when the game will be resumed.
Key Players:
Casey Cumiskey (Stallions): Cumiskey continues his impressive play for the Stallions going 1-2 with two RBI and a run after a triple in the top of the fourth. Cumiskey could have added even more hits on the night if not for the unexpected postponement before the start of the bottom of the fifth.
Pitching Notes
Matthew Drillings (Stallions): Drillings started for the Stallions, pitching two innings, allowing no hits and no runs and recording one strikeout in his time on the mound.
Game Conclusion:
The Stallions had a comfortable three run lead until the game was unexpectedly postponed due to inclement weather. Looking for their second straight win after dropping three in a row, it’s an unfortunate postponement but now the Stallions look forward to Tuesday where they will have a double header against the Amsterdam Mohawks.
Next Game:
Monday, July 1st: Away vs Amsterdam Mohawks
First pitch:
Game 1: 4:15 p.m.
Game 2: 6:45 p.m.
