The 2021 Saugerties Stallions are Looking for Home Game Interns!

Are you a junior or senior in high school, a college undergraduate, a graduate student, or someone who just really loves baseball? Become a member of the Stallions family by participating in The Saugerties Stallions Internship Program. The Stallions are looking for interns who are hard-working, reliable people, who love baseball and have an interest in sports marketing, sports management, communications/public relations, journalism, advertising/marketing, and videography/photography.   Interns will complete their summer internship as part of a college internship program where they will receive college credit. Interns will receive a summer stipend! Interns must live within a commutable distance. Some of our opportunities are:  

Management

Oversee home game management. Make sure in game events are ready and perform an extreme degree of quality assurance to make sure each home game runs smoothly.

MEDIA RELATIONS

  Our media relations interns will oversee the handling game notes, and all social media forms, writing post-game recaps, and other news articles, writing press releases and communicating with area media outlets.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS

The community relations interns will help increase the team’s presence throughout Saugerties and the local surrounding areas. Responsibilities include: developing and maintaining a professional relationship with in the community assisting the coordination and community events scheduling mascot and player appearances.   ON – FIELD PERSONALITY These interns will help create and execute on-field promotions that take place between innings at every home game. Other major duties for this intern will include writing game scripts, interacting with fans, energizing, and communicating with the crowd via on the field microphone.  

PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHER

These interns will be the official photographer/ videographer for the Saugerties Stallions. They will be responsible for the needs of the website, local newspapers, and TV stations, and on field activities, other public relations, and media opportunities. (Interns must have your own equipment).  

MARKETING

The marketing interns will be responsible for assisting the organization in the development and implementation of its marketing, business development, and public relations plans. Interns must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize. Interns must have excellent interpersonal skills, follow-up skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. Interns must also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Programmers, Web Developers, Graphic Design

These interns will provide our fans with the best user interface experience along with feature rich applications to encourage fan and sponsorship engagement.
