Summary: The Stallions run-ruled the Mohawk Valley Diamond Dawgs on Sunday in an 11-1 victory through eight innings. With Sunday’s victory, the Stallions improve to 16-10 on the season and secure their fourth straight win. Standing out for the Stallions was once again Jamie Zee and Justin Ford on the offensive side of the plate. On the defensive side, Sean Dertinger took his first start on the mound for Saugerties this season, allowing the Diamond Dawgs a single run. With another win, the Stallions find themselves back in second place in the East division.

Justin Ford (Stallions): Ford continues his hot streak for Saugerties, tacking on two more RBI on the season, in a 1-4 performance against the Diamond Dawgs. His 30 RBI currently lead the PGCBL.
Jamie Zee (Stallions): Zee was the biggest contributor for the Stallions, recording a triple and four RBI against Mohawk Valley. Zee now has two triples this season.
Pitching Notes
Sean Dertinger (Stallions): Dertinger impressed in his Stallions debut this season, pitching five innings, allowing three hits, one run and recording four strikeouts.

The Stallions continue their win streak, improving to four straight against the Diamond Dawgs. Now finding consistency both at the plate and on the mound, the Stallions are emerging as a serious contender in the back half of the season. They now look to make it five straight against Glens Falls on Monday.
