Game Highlights
Early Innings: Tyler Bak set the tone with a leadoff double, but the Stallions left the bases loaded in the first inning without scoring. However, they broke through in the second inning when Rich Rodriguez hit a sacrifice fly to right field, bringing in Justin Ford for the first run.
Third Inning Surge: The Stallions exploded for four runs in the third inning. Eddie Yamin drove in a run on a fielder’s choice, followed by an error by the Dragons’ pitcher that allowed Andrew Amato to score. Justin Ford and Jean Michael Cuello then contributed RBI singles and fielder’s choices to extend the lead to 5-0.
Dragons’ Response: The Dragons managed to get on the board in the fourth inning with Cody Meier scoring on a double steal, marking their first run of the game.
Continued Dominance: The Stallions added three more runs in the fifth inning through a combination of aggressive baserunning and fielding errors by the Dragons. Bayrom Hot and Jean Michael Cuello capitalized on these errors, and Josh Blackmore hit a sacrifice fly to bring in Justin Ford.
Late Game Action: The Dragons added another run in the seventh inning with an RBI double by Ryan Hart, but the Stallions countered with another run in the eighth on Tyler Bak’s RBI single, concluding the scoring at 9-2.
